He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, in 2004 after completing his dental education. He subsequently went back to Utah to start a dental office and start a family.
Dr. Ellis married Tiffany in his second year at BYU. This was his true love. They have been married for fifteen years. Tiffany was a registered nurse when they were married, and despite staying at home to be a full-time mother, she has kept her license ever since.
Jim and Tiffany are the parents of 5 wonderful kids, who range in age from 2 to 14 years old. They call Morgan, Utah their home and love to spend time in the mountains. Their main pastime is attending all of their children’s activities. They enjoy running, yachting, and skiing. They have previously participated in a number of races, including the Ogden half- and full-marathon.
