“Mr Haider Syed is a senior consultant urological surgeon with over 30 years of urology experience. His expertise includes kidney stones, benign prostate diseases, urinary tract infections and haematuria (blood in urine), scrotal issues, and urological carcinomas.

He graduated in 1984 as a doctor and completed his urology specialist training in 2000 at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. Mr. Syed is a specialist in kidney stones and offers laser treatment and ESWL shockwave to treat kidney stones. All patients suffering from prostate enlargement, PSA, or other prostate problems can be served by him. He also has a fast-track clinic for haematuria (blood in the urine). He provides surgical treatment for adult circumcisions and scrotal conditions such as epididymal cysts, hydrocele, and varicocele. All patients with infections of the urinary tract are welcome to see him.
Mr Syed was employed in the NHS for more than 32 years. He retired in 1990 and now works privately at Spire Little Aston Hospital. Mr Syed received his FRCS in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland in 1990. In 1993, he completed a one year diploma in urology at University College London’s Institute of Urology. He completed his MSc in Urology at the Institute of Urology, University College London, from 1996 to 1998.
Mr Syed recently received feedback from colleagues and patients as part of the 360 degree revalidation, which was conducted by Spire Healthcare in September 2022. All feedback received was excellent from patients who were treated under my care at Little Aston Hospital.
Mr Syed offers clinics on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings.
